Job Description
A medical representative (MR) acts as the vital link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. They promote and sell medicines, medical devices, or healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, while educating medical staff on clinical data, safety profiles, and product usage.
Key Responsibilities
->Product Promotion: Present and explain drug benefits, dosages, and clinical research to doctors and pharmacists to drive prescriptions.
->Territory Management: Plan daily schedules to visit clinics, hospitals, and retail chemists within an assigned geographic area.
->Relationship Building: Establish long-term, trust-based connections with medical professionals and healthcare staff.
->Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue quotas.
->Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and local prescription trends, reporting insights back to the company.
->Administrative Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of client interactions and submit daily call reports using CRM tools.
